MC – Keith Pedro
The comedian Keith Pedro has been one of North America’s rising stars. Recently featured on Kevin Hart’s new Laugh Out Loud network, Keith has been touring all across the globe spreading his hilarious wit to many different audiences. From Montreal’s Just For Laughs comedy festival all the way to CBC’s Halifax Comedy Festival. You’ve heard him on SiriusXM and his debut Comedy Album “Grindecology” was the first Canadian comedy album reach the top spots for Google Play and iTunes in it’s opening week. Keith is known for his off the top improvisational and crowd work skills and is currently a headliner with Yuk Yuk’s and has been performing all across the world, from festivals to tours, displaying his in-your-face persona and his fast talking, smart-ass swagger. Even aside from stand up comedy, Keith has done everything from being a part of the eTalk featured sketch crew “THE BOOM” all the way to acting on Degrassi The Next Generation. Middle – David Burke
Originally from Halifax, Dave Burke moved to Toronto in 2013 and can be seen headlining Yuk Yuk’s comedy clubs across Canada. He’s performed at the Boston Comedy Festival, and has written and performed for Your Hood’s a Joke at the Just for Laughs Festival in Montreal. He’s appeared at the National Arts Center and the CAA Theatre. You’ve heard him on SiriusXM Radio. He’s performed warm-up for TV and theatre, and performs stand-up for corporate events around Canada.
Headliner – Rob Ross
Rob Ross is a sought after Canadian headlining stand-up comic and accomplished award winning television writer based in Toronto.
Performing credits include: A one hour Comedy Now special on The Comedy Network and CTV, CBC’s Halifax Comedy Festival, CBC’s Winnipeg Comedy Festival, Just For Laughs, JFL42, CTV’s Open Mike and CBC’s 9 O’Clock Show. He was just 24 years old when he did his first nationally televised special COMICS! on CBC.
Ross has played comedy clubs across North America and performed on such prestige stages as Toronto’s Massey Hall and Royal Alexandra Theatre, plus The Burton Cummings Theatre for the Performing Arts in Winnipeg. He also once opened for legendary rock band Heart in front of 30,000 angry concertgoers who didn’t expect to see a comedian.
Ross was head writer and creative producer for the popular MTV Canada show MTV Live and was a producer for CBC’s award winning hit series Canada’s Smartest Person. Other credits include CBC’s Still Standing, Rick Mercer Report, Andrew Lloyd Weber’s, Over The Rainbow, Royal Canadian Air Farce, Street Cents, The NHL Awards, The Canadian Country Music Awards, Gemini Awards and The Junos on CTV.
Another credit is writing for Prime Minister Stephen Harper for two Parliamentary Press Gallery Dinners. But if you don’t like Harper he didn’t. Original, energetic, fast paced and engaging, Ross involves his audiences in laugh packed performances from start to finish.
