Music Cruise with Jack de Keyzer & The Human Rights

Come join us for a music cruise! Our Summer Music Cruise Series features a 4 hour scenic cruise on Lake Muskoka!

4 HRS ABOARD THE WENONAH II

Muskoka’s steamship heritage is older than Canada. The first ship steamed Lake Muskoka in 1866. In 2017, we marked the amazing RMS Segwun’s, 130 year history. She is North America’s oldest operating mail steamship.

Wenonah II, a modern interpretation of a traditional steamship, is named in honour of Wenonah, the first steamship to sail Lake Muskoka.

Wenonah II combines turn-of-the-century charm with modern conveniences including air-conditioning and an on-board elevator. Passengers can enjoy three dining rooms and three decks offering the ultimate lakeview experience.

Cruise leaves Gravenhurst Wharf at 4:00 pm sharp and boarding begins at 3:15 PM (or so)

This cruise is a licensed event with a cash bar.

Jack de Keyzer

International blues guitarist, singer, song writer 2X Juno 7 X Maple Blues Winner Jack de Keyzer is “Canada’s finest blues player.” – Jeff Healey

Rarely sitting still, de Keyzer’s music is steeped in Chicago blues, London England’s (de Keyzer’s birth place) blues rock, Detroit’s Motown, Muscle Shoals deep soul,  Memphis’ rock and roll, and Philadelphia’s funky soul jazz. De Keyzer knows first hand as he has played with many first generation pioneers of these sounds and styles, Bo Diddley, Otis Rush, Etta James, King Biscuit Boy and Ronnie Hawkins to name a few.

“If Jack de Keyzer was from New York, Chicago or LA, he’d be famous.” – Bob Dylan

The Human Rights

The Human Rights have developed a modern, high energy sound that blends Roots Reggae with jazz, funk and R&B influences, courtesy of a blazing three-piece horn section. Their songs have become staples on Reggae radio shows everywhere, and on CBC programs like Big City, Small World, while fans of the Trailer Park Boys will know them for their version of the Trailer Park Boys theme song featured in the movie Don’t Legalize It.
