Come join us for a music cruise! Our Fall Music Cruise Series features a 4 hour scenic cruise on Lake Muskoka!
4 HRS ABOARD THE WENONAH II
Muskoka’s steamship heritage is older than Canada. The first ship steamed Lake Muskoka in 1866. In 2017, we marked the amazing RMS Segwun’s, 130 year history. She is North America’s oldest operating mail steamship.
Wenonah II, a modern interpretation of a traditional steamship, is named in honour of Wenonah, the first steamship to sail Lake Muskoka.
Wenonah II combines turn-of-the-century charm with modern conveniences including air-conditioning and an on-board elevator. Passengers can enjoy three dining rooms and three decks offering the ultimate lakeview experience.
Cruise leaves Gravenhurst Wharf at6:00 pm sharp and boarding begins at 5:00 PM (or so).
The HIP Experience
The HIP Experience was formed with one goal in mind, to establish the Nation’s best Tragically Hip show.
Frontman Derek Lathrop from the Radically Hip*, and drummer, Randy James from The Wheat Kings* have put together a stellar show that intends to whisk you away to a time when concerts series like Another Roadside Attraction and Killer Whale’s were all the rage.
Together, they realized what decades of experience can accomplish.
Often playing the songs in chronological order, the HIP Experience has been travelling the country spreading the gospel of one of our Nation’s ageless prophets and voice for indigenous people’s, Gord Downie.
The roaring tunes from the 1930’s band, The Vaudevillian make you get off your doggone caboose & do the lindy hop! The old fashioned gentleman Jitterbug James & the sweetheart Norah Spades bring you dancing numbers from the prohibition period! Get ready to shine your shoes to do the skoodle um skoo!
